I think the Wife and I are just going to a friend's house for a cookout. Might watch some fireworks, might not, not really sure. Not as exciting as goin' out in downtown Tampa but what can ya do.

The kids want to blow stuff up at the house, other than that we're headed to Oklahoma City this weekend for amusement park fun.

I am working in the morning, but plan on my husband having some nice babyback ribs ready for me when I get home. We will probably watch fireworks by the golf course. We live in a small town outside of Tampa that still has a parade and fireworks.

I'm just now making plans. I will probably grill at my place for a crowd. There will be much imbibing of spirits and burning of things (explosives, carcinogens, etc).

I plan on doing a lot of relaxing. The past three weekends I've been out of town and need a weekend to relax. A few BBQ's and golf is definitely on the agenda, so it should be good times.

Locally there is nothing going on besides fireworks so one has to be creative and make the party. :) With the kids taken care of with their plans the adults have decided we want good friends, good food, good drink - that's all we need. A group effort (we're all doing a bit of something). Melvin is bbqing, I made some side dishes, Christian and Clifton are hooking us up with some mixtapes, Yolanda bought out the liquor store. We can see the fireworks from either my house or Brian's so we'll gather (about 10-15 people) at either his place or mine. We most likely won't go out - get our drink and dance on wherever we end up. The police patrols are already out looking for people drinking/driving.

Just having good times with friends. :)
