Steelers at Pats is definitely, without a doubt, the game of the week for week 14. The rest of the matchups this week are pretty damn boring, especially MNF.
I really think the Steelers have the best chance of any team the Pats have played; their defense is number 1 in the NFL and their offense is decent, assuming the offense gets on the airplane. The Steelers *can* pull this victory out methinks.
Anyhow, I predict the Steelers upsetting the Pats, ruining their unblemished record.
Steelers 23, Pats 17.
Thoughts?

The Patriots are certainly rattled, I don't know what Brady's confidence is like with his performance in the past few games but it's certainly not at its peak. I can see the Steelers pulling it off, or at least keeping it close right to the end.

I think the Pats have been conserving, but since the Steelers are talking trash they will bust out for 41. Maybe even more if Polamalu isn't playing. 41-21.

Yeah I don't think the Steelers will pull off a win, even though they have a good chance. I think last week vs. the Ravens is probably the closest anyone will get to beating the Pats in the regular season. The Ravens had the game won but lost composure at the end.
I would imagine the Pats will readjust their offensive attack and continue their reign. All that said, it should still be a good game.

Depends:
Steelers win it 31-28. Unless the refs decide to get in the game again. In that case I say the Pats 35-34.

Gnorb do you think the refs were unfair in the Ravens/Pats game?

I certainly do.

Scoring somewhere in high-20s to low-30s for both teams with the Steelers coming out on top late in the game.
One can hope.

For those of you talking about the refs in the Ravens game obviously you didn't see the Colts game where they couldn't do anything more for Peyton besides throw random points on the scoreboard.

Not really. But then, I didn't watch it. Yet, 3 penalty calls on a 4th down at the end of the game seems a bit... I don't know... forced?
I'm actually rooting for the Pats to have a perfect season (and for Miami to have a perfect season, as well. The other kind). But it seems that Ravens game came with a LOT of controversy.

Yeah those penalties were legit though. I was watching, and I didn't think the refs screwed anyone over towards the end of the game. The Ravens just shot themselves in the foot.

Good god, the Patriots handled the Steelers like they were a Junior-Varsity team! I did not expect such an ass-whooping by the Pats.
Who knows, maybe they are as good as everyone seems to think they are!

Yeah the Steelers didn't stand a chance. As Jark said, this was a pure ass-whipping, and the Pats should cruise through the rest of the regular season.

Prediction: Pats lose to the Dolphins, 20-17.
It's only fitting.

I'll give you 100 points if that happens.

I've been thinking about a similar fate. Sure would be an ironic twist to the conquest.
Although, I really think I would rather see the Pats go undefeated. If, for no other reason than to not have to hear the 72 'Fins whining every year a team starts the season undefeated.

Be ready for the unexpected.....Of course it will be good if the patriots remain undefeated.
