Game of the week for week 6 is obviously New England -vs- Dallas. The showdown between Tom Brady and Randy Moss versus Tony Romo and T.O. should be an entertaining game.

Who do you think is going to pull it out? Will it be a close game or a blowout?

I think New England will pull it off. They are on a serious roll and I just don't see that changing, at least until they play Indy. Romo better not have a game like last week or there is no way in hell his team can win. And T.O. might want to actually catch the balls thrown at him this week.

New England blowout. People tend to forget that unlike Dallas, New England actually has a defense and they have beat quality teams, Dallas has played the joke schedule.

New England blowout for sure, and please let Randy Moss actually get some touchdowns this time. He's gotta be pissed that he gets em down the field and then never scores.

Haha wha? He has like one game with 0 TDs and every other game he has 2. Where the hell you been?

Okay! Dallas has done what they need to in order to win. I agree New Englands defense might be superior to Dallas, but Dallas has an offense that can stay in there with anyone. I hope the game is as good as it should be and Dallas somehow finds a way to win again.

I think NE will win but not by a blow out. I think it will be close.
(Besides close games are better to watch anyways.)

p.s. Not that it matters, my Colts are rockin' the house again this year!

Neither team's played anyone worth a damn, honestly, but I have to favor the Pats. Super Bowl rings aside you just don't see Tom Brady have days like Romo does. Those guys are ALWAYS consistent to the core. Should be a good game regardless.

The game has been pretty interesting thus far. Bet that nobody thought it would have been a tit-for-tat type game, which it has been. This is good stuff!

Well I didn't expect a blowout at all, but I figured there would be some heavy scoring back and forth. Never the less, it's been enjoyable to watch.

Figures, just as soon as I say it has been a good game the Patriots take off and start killing the Cowboys.

They were really hanging in there for awhile, even had the lead for a bit. Just goes to show you can't make mistakes when you're playing the Patriots. The Cowboys just got ROMOWNED!

Yeah, guess they did end up getting worked.

@jensized: rofl. romowned eh?

Told you they had no chance of keeping up. You aren't going to keep on scoring on that D no matter what, yet NE can score at will. Take away that fluke Brady fumble for a TD and you have an even worse score. The problem every team faces when they play NE is that they don't have enough personnel to cover the talent. Once NE shows you a 5 WR set what the hell can you do? No team is going to have 3 DBs fast enough to cover Moss, Welker AND Stallworth.

@jark: You like that? My boyfriend and I have this game where we insult each other using quarterbacks' names.

EG "I just caught a Smelley Booty Brees from you, you Grossman" (USC, Southern Cal, Saints, Bears)

USC as in South Carolina or USC as in Southern Cal which then means you said it twice which then means you are confusing.

USC = South Carolina
Southern Cal = Southern Cal

Remember I'm one of those obnoxious SEC loyalists ;)

Too bad that conference will beat itself out of the national championship almost every year unless someone gets lucky in the rankings (aka Florida last year). And nobody refers to South Carolina as USC...nobody.

Here in SEC country they do. I like to call them "The Ol' Ball Coach & Friends" myself. South Carolina games are fun to watch just to see how many times Spurrier chucks some random object onto the field. And also because they have a QB named Smelley.

Spurrier threw his hat for the first time all season and maybe ever while coaching USC (happy?) this year in the first-half of the Kentucky game. Random fact I thought everyone should know.

Too true. NE has far too many weapons to effectively cover them all, though I really thought Dallas was going to have a better showing in the second half. The defense just got too tired and was unable to keep up.

Tis all good to me since I really could care less for the Cowboys!

It look like we'll have a repeat in the playoffs with NE vs Indy again... here's to the Colts going for a repeat.

The NE vs Dallas game was good for the first half...
