Did anyone watch UFC last night? I couln't believe that Keith Jardine actually beat Chuck and IMO quite comprehensively.

I watched it. :)
Chuck is one dimensional, it was only a matter of time.

Yeah was quite an upset, I just loved Jardines comments at the end...
"I have to give him credit, I was seeing stars for that whole first round, he hurts even when you block him..."
I was gutted that Diego never won his fight, I like him.

lol, I remember that.
Same here, I like Diego as well, the kid has a lot of heart.

Yeah, it is hard not to like Diego, Sitch was just to lanky for him to take out... I actualy think he was more agressive, even if Sitch was on top, he didn't do any significant damage.
It sounds like they are going through a scoring dilema atm on that front so it'll be interesting to see if they change the rules a little.
On another note... Forrest Griffin is just the nuts... he has big balls, a big heart and he is funny.

That was the most boring UFC event I think I've watched.

Didn't get to watch the event. Wow! Chuck lost again? Did Jardine pick him apart? KO Lidelll?
Wonder if Chuck is thinking of retiring?

I remember that UFC and I have to disagree with JPhill, it was one of the better events I've seen in a while, especially compaired to the last event (c'mon, Crocop? please).
It's starting to look like I'm the only one here to doesn't like Diego. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to see him beat Koscheck but only because I like him even less. I am glad Diego lost again though.
@edub: Don't think Chuck is thinking of retiring any time soon. He doesn't seem like the type and he probably wants some revenge matches.

@mstickel: You're not the only one. I'm not a big Diego fan either. While I think it's great to have a lot of confidence (exhibited by both Diego and Koschek) it's another thing to think that no one at all can defeat you.
Take a look at Forrest Griffin. He's got a ton of heart, an immense amount of confidence, but every time he's interviewed he considers his opponent's skill level and knows that there are things he needs to be careful of in order to get that win.
I don't think Chuck will retire either. I don't think we'll see him for a few events, as he'll likely take a bunch of time off to re-focus and train, be he'll definitely be back.

aaaaww yeah! Forrest is the man. When I was watching the first season of Ultimate Fighter I didn't like him but now he's one of my fav's. He's also one of the most humble fighters out there, unlike Diego.

And I think that's why he's so damn popular, even if he loses a match, he just gets right back at 'er and puts on a wicked show his next time out.
It's pretty cool watching him progress as a fighter too, his skills have improved big time in the last 6 to 8 months and he's becoming a lot smarter fighter, though he still likes to get in there and bang for all he's worth!
