I'm pumped as well. I follow DI and DII basketball and can't wait for the season to start. Kansas is always my team, but UNC and Florida will give them a run for their money.

Arizona will win it because in College Hoops the hyped teams NEVER do. Florida will disappoint and UNC will make it to the Championship game only to falter. Final Four is always damn near impossible to pick, but let me take a chance here.

- Ohio State: When Ogden return in January he will show the world he is the real deal and send a message to all NBA teams.
- North Carolina: Too gifted to mess up.
- UCLA: Hunger.
- Arizona.

Yeah Kansas is good, but the University of Choke will do it again and Florida won't have the energy to fend off people for a whole season.

Personally, I'm a big 'Bama fan, and I like our b-ball team this year. Ranked #11/#12 in the preseason polls, we've got a lot of new players that will provide some depth and one of the best starting 5's in the country.

Scrivs, I disagree with you about Florida...unless something weird happens, I think you've got to mark them down as being there in the end. The one thing they have that a lot of other teams don't is chemistry...if that's there again this year, watch them closely...

I've seen it all too often with teams like Florida. There really is no motivation to go all the way because you have already done it once. Noah is thinking about the NBA and has much as he wants to say he loves college, thinking even bigger will get in the way. Same goes with the rest of the squad. Add to that everyone will be gunning for them and they will be worn out by the end of the season if Billy boy doesn't play his cards right.

Been a Syracuse fan since I was a wee lad. They're good for twenty wins every year. Boeheim picked up a kid named Paul Harris this year who could be ferocious.

Picking a Final Four is kinda like throwing darts blindfolded at this point but it's good fun so I'll go with:

Pittsburgh
LSU
North Carolina
Xavier (what the hell)

I think it's hard as hell to repeat in college basketball. You've got to be hungry. You've got to have a great coach. You've got to avoid injuries. You've got to have a player than can carry the team for certain stretches of the season. Could Florida do it? Yeah, but I don't think they will.
