I'm sure that if these became a regularly used item in competitive sports SOMEONE would step up and complain.

Does anyone remember when MLB outfielders started wearing those wrap around Oakleys? Lots of players and fans flipped out intially but after a season or two it wasn't a big deal. I think this will kinda go the same way. If they take off, that is.

It makes me wonder where the "unfair advantage" debate will go and if it will become a big deal.

That is really awesome. I wanted to try running again, so that would be awesome for training. Now if running only gave me an opponent that would look me in the eye...

I believe they are the EXACT same filter tech... just in a larger radius contact form. You can even DL a free trial pair coupon from their website.

I remember talking to some guys who were selling these things (only in sunglasses form, about 2 years ago) at a Nationals baseball game in D.C.

They let us try them on for a few innings and it was amazing the difference! These look to be the same or at least similar things. Very, very cool stuff.

I saw this today and thought... HOLY CRAP.

Nike has developed with Bausch and Lomb, a contact lense that covers your eye, and blocks UV rays as well as reduces glare and visual noise, allowing the athlete the advantage of clarity and better sight while competing.

Not to mention they have the added bonus of creeping out your opponent.

Can be seen here...
