So who do you have going to the Super Bowl this year? I'm feeling Cincy and the Bucs, but the Cowboys will be very strong if TO stays in line and Bledsoe remembers how to throw vertically. However, if they win my mom will never let me live it down and if Pittsburgh repeats I'll have to listen to Colin for another year.

If I'm allowed two more Super Bowl picks though I would say my next matchup is San Diego vs. Washington.

Dude. Pittsburgh for a minimum three-peat.

I think the Browns are going to pwn all this year! (Um, no)

the Bears will roll through the regular season and dominate the worst division in the NFL, then get bounced in their first playoff game. but i think that Cincy and Seattle will meet in the Super Bowl

#1 Indy vs. Giants
#2 Cincy vs. Dallas

misc:

- Parcells beats down TO with a headset during the game week 5
- Dick Vermeil un-retires to coach the Vikings week 7
- Retires and cries week 9
- Tom Brady MVP

Bringing this bad boy back up because we are getting closer and closer to the season starting. Sticking with my picks as well.

I had no choice but to bring this one back up since my picks couldn't be any further off. The NFL is an unpredictable beast this year so hopefully I can go back on my picks and offer some new ones.

I like Griffin's call with the Giants, but until Peyton wins the big one in the playoffs its hard for me to pick them. So I'm going to go with Giants vs. Broncos since the Broncos have an upside to their O and their D is already good.

Of course don't let the latest setbacks by the Patriots fool ya and Saints could be very dangerous with some home-field advantage.

I think I'm going to disagree with the Giants pick. I can't see them riding on Barber's back all the way to the big game. Indy will always be in mind for me, because Peyton is so good, but again, he has to bring it in the playoffs a little stronger than he has in the past.

Chicago is still looking good, but Grossman worries me sometimes. I still don't think he's as crisp as he could be, and makes some poor decisions sometimes.

I can't see the Saints doing anything, but the Patriots are quite dangerous. I would never rule out Brady.

I'll stick with my Indy vs. Giants pick, who I'm watching right now and they pretty much dominated the Bears during the first half but only put up 13 points and gave up a late touchdown.

The Giants are becoming decimated by injuries, Luke Petitgout is out now, Sam Madison too (he wasn't playing that well anyway) all ontop of their best three defensive playmakers and two starting linebackers. If they don't get healthy it'll be a tough road through the playoffs, if they don't fall apart first.

Denver's a good pick. San Diego is looking solid. Never discount New England but I just can't imagine Peyton Manning will go his whole career without getting Indy to a Super Bowl. This year seems as good as any.

Chicago just scored to go ahead..no they didn't, holding. Play by play here.

Root Root Root for the Home Team
If they don't win it's a shame

It's not baseball but I stick with my peoples...

ST LOUIS RAMS FOR THE WIN!

Yeah I agree that Peyton won't go his whole career without a ring......or at least to the SB.

Since it's the home town team......I'm going with the Bears to go all the way! That's my final verdict.

I'm gonna say Indy vs. Seattle. I'm in the semi Buffalo area, but I learned that no matter what, they always let you down. I gave up hope.

Off topic but since I brought it up, the Giants got spanked last night. They dominated the first half. Looked like a pee wee team the second.

Tiki did what Tiki always does but Eli played like the second coming of Ryan Leaf. Same thing last year, played great at the start of the season but took a nose drive around the half way point. He needs some help with his mechanics cause just about every other pass sails high on him.

Anyway, I needed to get it out.

Okay, well the Colts have to be favorites right now. They seem to find ways to win, and that's been something they've had trouble doing. Of course, doing it in the regular season and then doing it in the playoffs are two totally different things, so we'll see if they can carry over their success to the postseason.

I like the Giants as well, even though they lost last night...and I think the Bears have righted the ship.

I really think the Bears squad being successful will depend on Grossman. He needs to get crisp so the defense doesn't always have to bail him out, because that won't happen all season into the post-season. I get nervous every time he gets ready to throw a long ball.

If the Bears Offense ever remains consistent then they are definitely a dangerous team and its just too damn hard to keep on calling the Colts favorites year after year. If you saw San Diego this past weekend though, Philip Rivers is maturing real quick and if their defense gets healthy again...watch out.

I think the giants have a great chance this season but it would not surprise me if the Bears shock a few on the way and who knows could make it the whole way.

no you got it all wrong the saints are going all the way this year despite there 3-13 finish last year they will finally go to and win the superbowl and the mvp?? drew brees hahaha who else?

Bears = bitter disappointment.

I was hoping something wasn't going to pop up about the Bears. That was the most disappointing game I've seen them play.

As you can see I mentioned both the Bears and Colts in the same sentence so therefore I was correct. The Bears can't win without a QB. Can't depend on D and a little bit of special teams luck next year, that's for sure. And no doubt NO is going to ramp up the D with their killer O so watch out. Colts have no chance of repeating.
