I saw this on Drudge this AM and had to share it. Warning, they slo-mo this accident so if you're squeamish don't look. (we made a lady @ work ALMOST barf)
That HAS to be devastating for an athlete, I can only imagine that he will need surgery.

OMG - yeah this is not for the squimish. Yes, I imagine he will need surgery. All that hard work to make it the Olympics for that to happen. I feel for him.

Yeah I saw this when it was posted, and wow, that's horrible. The slow-motion version and still photos are just as horrific.

I felt bad for the dude when I saw the video the first time, but when I caught his legs spasming on a second view is when I felt it in my stomach.
