The final leg of the relay was unbelievable!! I can't believe he came back from being almost a length behind. The look on the French swimmers' faces was priceless. Who's smashed now!!

The comments on the post are actually funnier than the picture.
I think the Wife and I are just going to a friend's house for a cookout. Might watch some fireworks, might not, not really sure. Not as exciting as goin' out in downtown Tampa but what can ya do.
Like a lot of people, I hate running. The big problem is that it's one of the best cardio activities you can do to lose weight. Because I don't like it (read: it's tough for me cause I'm a bigger guy) it's difficult to make myself do it, so my compromise with myself is to get a road bike and get my cardio that way. My wife has been training for her first triathlon so she's in the process of buying herself a road bike as well.
So, any bikers in here that could give a tip to a newbie rider? I've been doing a lot of reading on bike manufacturers, components and drivetrain types, but it's tough to put it all together into one cohesive idea. Basically I'm looking for an entry-level road bike, could be new or used, and I care more about the quality of the components than the brand of the frame itself.
This is too much for me to handle, they just tied after 18 holes. Tiger birdied and Rocco got par on the final hole, now they're going into sudden death.
I've always had a crush on her.
Yes, it's a picture of a woman with huge fake breasts. Read the title.
My wife and I are dog lovers but she was bit on her hand by one of our friend's dogs a few months ago, not as bad as your bite though. The woman offered to pay for our doctor's bills as Eleni had to get a tetanus shot and get dressing for it.
Saying a particular breed of dog is always evil is about as intelligent as saying a particular race of people is evil. I've dealt with maniac golden retrievers and I've seen perfectly harmless pitbulls, so you can't make generalizations.
As far as putting the dog down... I don't really know about that one. Such a tough call.
Paul why do you wanna get rid of the 30"? I'll take it off your hands.
New iPhone for sure. New TV is coming hopefully in the next month or whenever we get our economic stimulus check... finally getting an HDTV. Would be nice to have a PS3 to go along with it since the Wii's graphics leave much to be desired. Who am I kidding, I have a Wii and don't really play it, so I'll probably do the same with the PS3.
I need to put this on the hood of my car.
Some of this is NSFW which means it's awesome. The guy dressed all in latex must be hot as hell in that outfit.
Gnorb I'm with ya, boxer briefs for me, too.
Not a strong start on Thursday but he always turns on the jets on the weekend, especially in a major.
Old Nike "Basketball" ad.
Hilarious, I almost wish this happened to me so I could beat this guy's ass.
Everybody up to their eyeballs in work today? Are people even at work today?
I've taken my dog out 4 times already and it's not even 3pm, that was my excitement for the day. That, and installing, repairing, or purchasing a garbage disposal in Raleigh is now illegal and punishable by $25,000 fines per day until you get rid of it.
"I know I can still play, but it's like I told my wife, I'm just tired mentally. I'm just tired," Favre, a 17-year veteran and three-time NFL MVP, told ESPN's Chris Mortensen in a voice mail message.

I think having the vertical doors is not only a brand statement, but also a nod to the price and what a car that expensive should have on it. It's not an everyday car, it's a high-performance sports car, and anything Lamborghini can do to separate itself from its competitors is a good thing.
I just got back into going to the gym again after a few month hiatus and I'm more serious about it this time. I mainly lift but occasionally do some cardio, though not as often as I probably should do it. I can bench more now than I could when I was in better shape a few years ago so I'm proud of that. Up to about 85% of my weight, hopefully I'll be benching my weight in the 3-4 weeks as I get stronger and lose a little weight.
I don't have a very good memory, but one of the most important memories that sticks in my mind is the night I met Eleni, my wife. We were out in NYC in a limo with our friends for a birthday and I remember on our way back to Connecticut we started off driving around the East Village and most people on the limo were passed out and sleeping. Eleni was sleeping on my lap and I was wide awake, looking out the windows, taking in all the lights and sights of New York City at night, reflecting on the night and all the events that occurred after we first met only a few hours earlier.
Oh, and another memory that really stands out (way less importance than meeting Eleni) was when 9rules won the Best Community award at SXSW Interactive a few years ago. Sitting around the table, hearing the word 9rules spoken into the microphone, it was like time stood still. I was so incredibly excited that it felt like I was moving in slow motion as I got up from the table, shook hands with people around me, and then walked up to the podium to give a terribly impromptu speech.
What a fantastic game that was. So many lead changes, so many opportunities for the tide to be completely flipped for either team, and in the end Eli marches the Giants down the field and puts it in the endzone. When he ducked out of that near-sack on that final drive, then threw that desperation pass that was caught behind the receiver's helmet, I knew fate was on their side. Play of the game, play of the season right there for the Giants.
Hey Cooper, Paul meant to bet on either the Giants or the Patriots, and your wager would be the my.9rules points that you send to him to initiate the bet.
I just made my bet... 20k on the Giants.
I think the 2007 Dolphins' record is more unimpressive than the impressiveness of the '72 Dolphins :)
The Giants are really stunning me lately. Everyone picked them to lose against the Cowboys and they ended up on top. Now little Eli has toppled the Packers and Brett Favre on the Packers' home turf, in the freezing cold, and he looked completely comfortable on the field.
I hope the Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Great to have you back! Good luck with the new notebook.
Cowboys/Pats in the big game, Cowboys winning it all in a high-scoring shootout.
Hey Kyle, glad to see you're not in a ditch somewhere!
Yeah no doubt they'll go undefeated. Ending their season against Eli and the Giants is a no-brainer, especially with Eli playing like a little 4-year old girl recently. Who's blind.
The Patriots are certainly rattled, I don't know what Brady's confidence is like with his performance in the past few games but it's certainly not at its peak. I can see the Steelers pulling it off, or at least keeping it close right to the end.
Not much to see... yet.
I don't wake up in the morning nor eat breakfast, so I'm not qualified to answer this question.
Hey we agreed that Scary, is.
Sporty FTW.

Yeah I saw this when it was posted, and wow, that's horrible. The slow-motion version and still photos are just as horrific.
